Welcome to the webpage of Bioinformatics Program at School of Informatics, Indiana University, Bloomington.

We have both Bioinformatics M.S. (since 2001) and Ph.D programs (since 2005). See details about our M.S. and Ph.D program.

Our research focus on the following serveral areas: evolution and comparative genomics, human disease, protein bioinformatics, proteomics, sequence analysis, metagenomics, and systems biology. (More details on the research page, and each faculty's webpage.)

We have close collaboration with many other institutions. To name a few, Biology, Chemistry, the Center for Genomics and Bioinformatics, Center for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, and Indiana University School of Medicine.
