1) Protein Protein Interaction group 2) Overall 5 3) Content 6 4) Organization 6 5) Good detail especially by second presenter. Only Xiang's ppt quite well organized; Ma's analogy - good and also some interesting stuff on graphs 6) In general badly organized in terms of time, took too long; Presentation skills could be improved - don't read off slides, prepare in advance 4/28/2003 1. Protein-Protein Interaction Group 2. 9 3. 9 4. 9 5. This is a huge topic and they did a good job covering the major topics. I liked their use of illustrations and they had a lot of links to explore in their ppt presentation. 6. I had a hard time hearing what was said some times and I thought some of the topics could have been explained a little better. I would have also liked to see the presenters take advantage of the computers in the lab and implement some programs or at least follow some of the links they presented in their ppt. III Group: Protein-Protein interaction The overall quality of the group project: 9 Content: 9 Organization: 9 What we liked most: The coverage of BIND and DIP databases was thorough and well done What is missing, in our opinion: An explanation of what one does with interaction data, and it would have helped if they have a visualization of what happens when proteins interact structurally. 1. Organization: 8 5. what you liked most: good graphics, comparing two databases 6. what is missing in your opinion: not enough context (biology), too much text per slide, -------------------- 1. The name of the group being evaluated: protein inetraction 2. The overall quality of the group project 1 - 10 (best) 8 3. Content: 1 - 10 (best) 8 4. Organization: 1 - 10 (best) 9 5. what you liked most; - interaction visualizing tools are really cool 6. what is missing in your opinion - More identifying algorithms of protein interaction are needed. -------------------
